In honor of International Women’s Day
On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the strength, dedication, and compassion of women everywhere. This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” reminds us that when women give their knowledge, time, and care to others, communities gain hope, healing, and a brighter future.
At St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor, this spirit of giving is visible every single day.
Across the hospital, women serve in many roles, nurses caring for patients through long nights, midwives bringing new life safely into the world, clinicians providing life-saving treatment, administrators ensuring services run smoothly, and support staff who keep the hospital environment safe and welcoming.
Their work is more than a profession; it is a calling.
By giving their skills and compassion to patients and families, these women help restore health, dignity, and hope. In return, the hospital and the wider community gain stronger families, healthier communities, and a legacy of care that continues to grow.
