or Health Training Institute recently held a vibrant and memorable leadership handover ceremony, bringing together students, staff, and guests to celebrate a new chapter of student leadership within the institute. The event marked the official transition of office from outgoing student leaders to newly elected leaders, spanning the Guild Cabinet and various student associations.
The ceremony was graced by the Scientific Director of St. Mary’s Hospital, Lacor, Dr. Emmanuel Ochola, who attended as the Chief Guest. In his remarks, he encouraged students to embrace leadership with responsibility, humility, and commitment, emphasizing that healthcare professionals are called not only to serve patients but also to influence society through integrity and teamwork positively.
The event was highlighted by the official handover from the outgoing Guild President Emeritus, Mr. Olweny Charles, to the incoming Guild President, H.E. Mr. Olila Moses.
